Yesterday, I went to the Portland/Vancouver Kitchen Party for Musicians and Singers. I had a good time. I met some interesting people and played along with my electric guitar and later with my bass.
I’m looking forward to the next meetup and also just seeing where this goes.

Details…Let’s see, there were four who played guitar, one of whom had only been serious for four months. There was one guy who just drove someone else there, but turned out to be able to get some decent sounds out of a little pair of drums that happened to be there and sang along with a few songs. Then there was someone who didn’t get there until everyone except me had left.
We played quite a few songs that I had heard before, a bit that I wasn’t familiar with, and then a few impromptu jams.
