As Josiah gets older, his questions get more difficult to answer. The other day we where looking at an engagement picture of Angie and I. He said, “Look, it’s a picture of mommy and daddy.” I said, “Yup, that a picture taken before we were married.”

“Where am I?” he asks.

“You weren’t born yet.”

“I was in mommy’s tummy?”

“No, you weren’t even in mommy’s tummy yet.”

“But, where was I?”

  1. Well, half of you DNA was in an under-developed egg in mom’s ovary. Then the other half of your DNA was yet to be compiled into a sperm in dad.
